The New Rival in Cloud Storage Competition: Copy.com
Well, today my friend randomly told me about this cloud storage, copy.com. He persuaded me to sign up this cloud storage because if I sign with his referrals, he will get additional storage of 5GB. Not just that, I will get additional 5GB too. WAW!! Sounds interesting! So, I did a little bit of research of this copy.com thing.

Copy.com is a new online file syncing, sharing and storage service built on the secure Barracuda Cloud. Barracuda Networks is the worldwide leader in Security, Application Delivery and Data Protection Solutions. Copy is a partnership between Barracuda Networks and Drobo. According to the developer, I think I have much proof to authorize this into my laptop :) Here is a promotional video about copy.
If you check about the rank in online storage media, maybe you may not found the rank about Copy. It is because Copy has been launched on March 2013. So, you have to wait for it to climb up the stairs. I'm sure it will go to the top.
The advantage of having copy as one of your cloud storage media.

Sukarsa Nusantara Project: State of The Art Indonesia Experience

Kutipan di atas merupakan kutipan yang mendasari pembentukan Sukarsa Nusantara hingga berkembang sampai saat ini. Kutipan di atas menyadarkan saya sebagai bangsa Indonesia yang kaya akan kebudayaannya untuk tidak hanya melestarikan, tetapi juga membagikan-nya kepada setiap insan yang ingin mempelajarinya. Project yang diusung oleh 4 orang dari berbagai latar belakang ini kian membesar dan menjadi salah satu proyek yang patut dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu pertukaran budaya Indonesia ke luar negeri. Sebagai gambaran awal, di bawah ini saya cantumkan poster Sukarsa Nusantara Project.
Board of Director dari Sukarsa Nusantara Project terdiri dari 4 orang yaitu Patota Putra Tambunan (Managing Director), Rapelly Theodore Surbakti (Program Director), Talitha Andini Prameswari (External Relation Director), dan Salim Chandra (Art Director). Masing-masing director dibantu dengan staffnya masing-masing. Saya sendiri adalah staff dari Program Director yang mengurusi Lecturing Program.
Sekilas gambaran dari Sukarsa Nusantara Project.
Sukarsa Nusantara is a project that is designed to accommodate celebration of cultural diversity that involves international participants in Indonesia's cities. Sukarsa Nusantara, literally means Good Will for Nusantara, is about appreciating, embracing, and sharing knowledge of Indonesia's cultural diversity. This event will take place in Bandung, Yogyakarta and Bali.
Its objective is to promote Indonesian cultural heritage and diversity to young generation globally.
It has 3 missions; create place for enhancing knowledge about cultural diversity through appreciation and direct interaction, preserve the wealth of cultural and national heritage, and help promote tourism in Indonesia and Bandung as a tourist destination.
The program will last 30 days. It starts on summer of June. The Sukarsa Nusantara's Programs are Lecture, Social Trips, Excursion, Cultural Workshops, and Performances.
Proyek kebudayaan ini bukanlah milik panitia Sukarsa Nusantara semata. Sumbangan ide maupun materi sedikit apapun dari seluruh rakyat Indonesia memiliki arti yang besar bagi kelangsungan proyek ini.
Saya sendiri sebagai lecture program staff juga sedang mencari ide materi untuk perkuliahan yang akan diberikan pada proyek ini. Proyek ini tidak menutup kemungkinan bagi komunitas-komunitas di luar sana terutama yang berada di Bandung untuk memberikan materi dari komunitas budaya tersebut ke dalam Sukarsa Nusantara ini.
